Air-to-air is outside Home Energy Scotland
Home Energy Scotland will not fund an air-to-air heat pump. The terms, checked 25 Sep 2026, list “Air to air heat pumps” among costs they will not cover. Air-to-water, ground-source and water-source heat pumps can get a grant up to £7,500, or £9,000 with the rural uplift.
